This journey began way back in 1990 riding the software-programming wave. We tinkered around doing a lot of research and writing programs to bring customized products to the market. Our company Software Smiths Infotech (India) Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 2006.
The company's mainstay - a Data Backup & Restore software program branded DSafe was introduced in 2005. Interestingly, our data backup software was launched a year before the company was even incorporated! This software has been made available to medium and large corporates and has seen quite a few iterations in its versions DSafe1 through DSafe5 as a result of feedback from the market. Dsafe5 was launched towards the end of 2019.

For over 25 years Allan Fernandes has been designing and implementing backup solutions. Keeping Data Safe is his expertise. A true technocrat he has a passion for writing code, leading product developments and large implementations pan India. Data loss prevention via backup solutions is his forte.
